Slimy guy

Okay, so get this – it's one of those stories that just makes you go "Whaaaat?!" and kinda cringe at the same time.
Imagine this: you knew this older fella, a client, but more like a friend of a friend, you know? Sweet guy, but sadly, he passed away. Fast forward, like, a whole eight years. Your phone rings, and guess what? It's his old number! You're probably thinking, "Hold up, is this a ghost?" Nope!
It's some new dude on the line. And here's the kicker – he introduces himself as the new husband of the wife of your friend who passed. So, the widow moved on, found a new chap, and this new guy, years later, decides it's a brilliant idea to go through his deceased predecessor's contact list. Seriously!
And what's his grand plan? To try and sell you something! Or, even better, lure you into what sounds suspiciously like one of those "get rich quick" pyramid schemes. He's chatting away like you're long-lost buddies, even though you've never laid eyes on him in your life. All because you were a contact of the original guy.
Talk about overstepping! It's not just weird, it's downright rude and just feels... icky. Using someone else's old phone number and contacts list to drum up business like that? Nah, that's just not cool. It’s the kind of thing that leaves a really bad taste in your mouth, you know? Super slimy move.
